It is hockey season now and I made the A TEAM. That is the best team that you can make. I am a second year squirt this year and on the B team last year so I am glad that I made the A team. I still play for the boys, but I am thinking about moving to the girls team next year.
GO A TEAM!

More D.C.

On the second day we had to get up at 7:00 again to go to the Capitol. No, not the white house. there is a difference you know. Well if you didn't know, now you do. We did a tour. We have tons of pictures. We saw a statue of Robert M. LaFollete. He is a man from Wisconsin. He was a senator and even ran for president. When the tour was over we ate lunch there at a food court and I got a T- shirt. We also went to the Library of Congress. When we were done we took the Metro, like we did to the capitol, to the Smithsonian. But it wasn't just snip snap get on get off. We got down to the Metro and we had to run over to catch the train. My dad was in a very bad position now. His arm and I are outside the train, and he is inside. When he gets his are in finally he tells me to stay there. So there I was in the the station under ground with hundreds of people getting on and off the trains, all by myself. 5 minuets later he came back on another train. When we got to the smithsonian we saw the exibit about the wright brothers. We also saw a movie about black holes. It was on the doe screen.Speaking of dome screens after eating at a Indian reseraunt we saw Night at the Mueseum 2. We saw it on the Imax screen. It was more fun seeing it on the I max screen. That is what we did the second day. The third day we went to the zoo. We saw all the animals but the birds with neither my dad nor me wanted to see. What I did see that were cool were a giant octupus ( not really giant) a panda bear and gorillas. The male gorilla was really big. There also was a baby gorilla. It was so cute. We also saw pandas. There were two inside and one outside. They were so cool. Then I had to go to the bathroom. I ran into the bathroom and my camara fell right into the toilet. All those pictures might have been wasted. We went to the smithsonian again today. It was supposed to have a lot of junk in it. It is callede americas attic. It wasn't nearly as cool as I thought it would be. There wasn't even that much stuff. We ate dinner at the train station. Let's make a long story short it was the worst "meal" I have ever had. i also got to take a picture with a cardboard cut out of Obama. Oh I almost forgot. Before we went to the station, we got one of those bike wagons to the Viet Nam Veterans memorial. I got a rubbing of a man named Marloye Kieth Halgrimson. On the way there we took a picture of in front of the white House. Then we got to take the metro home after dinner. That is what i did the third day. On the 4th day we drove to Mount Vernon. All I have to say about that is that it was boring. But before that we took the metro to the airport and got a blue PT Cruiser. That was our rental car. It was a long drive from Mount Vernon to Gettysburg. When we got to Gettysburg we singed up for something called join the army. Then we saw a video and cyclorama. Then we went to dinner. I had Veal an d spaghetti. It was good. For dessert we had chocalate peanut butter cake. Then we went back to the bed and breakfast to go to bed. On the fifth and final day we spent all day at Gettysburg. First my dad showed me around and we saw the Iron Brigade Memorial. We also saw what it looked like from the top of little round top. But i forgot to tell you what we did for breakfast so lets not jump too far ahead. We ate at the Bed and Breakfast of course. First we had fresh peaches and granola. next we had chocolate chip muffins. And last we had eggs and biscuits with sauteed peppers on the side. THEN we went to Gettysburg. After our little self tour my dad and I went to the join the army. I learned a lot. My favorite thing was a bayonet charge. After that we left to go back to the airport. When we got there we had dinner. We ate paninis. Then we finally got on the plane. We had a smooth ride home. When we got back to Wisconsin and got our luggage we waited for our mom to pick us up. When we got home we went to bed. Goodnight Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

Travel
Hello, I just got back from Canada last night at1:30 in the mourning. Wow did I just spell morning like that. Well I guess I am now used to how Canadians spell things. Now that I am back from Canada I get to rest, right? WRONG! I got 7:00 in the morning (Ha I got it right this time.) to get on a plane to Washington D.C. That was delayed to 11:01.
The plane finally gets here and we have a nice smooth ride to D.C. I forgot how cool it was to be in the clouds. The airport is on the river, so we flew right over it. I don't know what river it is so don't ask me. There was a bunch of peope on the river on boats and canoes.
We took a cab to our hotel and walked to eat lunch. I had a fairly good lunch at Chipotle. We got a cab to the Lincoln Memorial (We don't have a car if you haven't noticed). First we walked over to the Viet Nam Veterans Memorial and took some pictures. It was so cool. People had left notes, touched peoples names, left flowers, and even got rubbings of peoples names. Then we went over to the Lincoln Memorial. But first we went over to the Viet Nam Veterans Memorial. Then we went to the Lincoln Memorial. It was really warm out so we left so we could see one more thing. We went to the Arlington Cemetery. We saw JFK's grave. There was this flame lit by gas so it never went out. i t was called the Eternal Flame. We also saw The Tomb of the Unknown. We saw them switch guards. Then we were so thankful to get in the cab because it was so steaming hot outside. We ate room service for dinner. It was good. I had a nice, peaceful, night of sleep.

Canada
Well I'm going to Canada tomorrow for hockey camp. I sure hope that it is worth while. I don't want to go all the way up to London, Ontario (no not London, England) and learn nothing at the camp. It is an all goalie camp in Canada, So it is going to be pretty intense. In Canada they are pretty serious about their hockey so I will be worked hard. I am getting prepared for my trip by watching the movie The Producers. Because I am going to be gone from 5:00 a.m tomorrow - sometime next Saturday, I may not be on the blog everyday. Then, when I get back from Canada, the I am going to Washington D.C. for 4 days.
I need a conservation starter. Oh, I have a good one. If you could meet any person in the world, who would it be? I would want to meet the person who made Camp Rock so I could, not kill, but seriously and legally hurt them.
I know that what I just said seems kind of nerdy, but what I said is nothing like my personality. I am pretty cool in my opinion, so don't be going all over the world saying that liz is a total dweeb..... JUST KIDDING!

Tip of the day

Never fight with the ref. He can start to play unfair calls with your team.
It is a different story if you are the captain, and the coach tells you to go talk to the ref in their half circle.
Hang low and don't say a word if your coach is the one doing the wrong thing and is fighting with the ref. Just remember, they are the ones who can bench you if they want.

Hockey playing monkey

1. What crazy person thought of this?
2. Why did some crazy person think of this?
3. Is this even legal?
4. A monkey playing hockey?
5. Has this been done before?
6. Are other monkeys playing hockey, too?
7. Does the monkey have a name (I wonder what it is)?
8. I wonder if this is a boy or a girl?
9. How can they tell a monkey's gender? Wait, don't answer that question.
10. What team jersey is the monkey wearing?
11. Does this creep you out even the slightest bit?
12. How long did it take to get the monkey dressed?
13. Did anyone die in the process of all this?
14. Is the monkey actually playing hockey?
15. Would the monkey be any good at hockey?
16. What size skates is the monkey wearing?
17. How long did it take the monkey to get on the ice?
18. What crazy person thought of this?
19. Did I already ask that question?
20. Are you still reading this? Go away. Leave me alone, I'm innocent.

Thank you aellafashion. The only reason I took down the count down is because every time I left the blog, it went back to zero. Maybe I will put it back on if I can figure out how to work it. But I do like the fish. You're right, they are pretty cool.

Totally rockin' music.
Tip of the day.
Time for another tip of the day.
So, when the puck is in the open, and you already see someone else closer than you going after it, you don't go after it, too. You got o were you think the puck will come out. That gives the person near the puck more room and more people to pass to.

Time for the second period prep talk.
We may be up 2-1, but that doesn't mean anything to us. They will be playing the best if we don't work to win. Play-downs are next week so we have to pretend that every game is the championship game or else we will never make it. One,two, three,TEAM!
Pretty good prep talk. Do a prep talk at the beginning of the game and between all the periods, with yourself or the whole team.

Okay, give me a break
I know that kosher boy doesn't really have anything to do with hockey, but can't you give a fellow hockey player with a good sense of humor a break. I mean it is totally HARlarious. "Spin that dradle watch it role" FUNNY!
