Well I'm going to Canada tomorrow for hockey camp. I sure hope that it is worth while. I don't want to go all the way up to London, Ontario (no not London, England) and learn nothing at the camp. It is an all goalie camp in Canada, So it is going to be pretty intense. In Canada they are pretty serious about their hockey so I will be worked hard. I am getting prepared for my trip by watching the movie The Producers. Because I am going to be gone from 5:00 a.m tomorrow - sometime next Saturday, I may not be on the blog everyday. Then, when I get back from Canada, the I am going to Washington D.C. for 4 days.
I need a conservation starter. Oh, I have a good one. If you could meet any person in the world, who would it be? I would want to meet the person who made Camp Rock so I could, not kill, but seriously and legally hurt them.

I know that what I just said seems kind of nerdy, but what I said is nothing like my personality. I am pretty cool in my opinion, so don't be going all over the world saying that liz is a total dweeb..... JUST KIDDING!

Now it is time for another hockey tip of the day.

Never fight with the ref. He can start to play unfair calls with your team.
It is a different story if you are the captain, and the coach tells you to go talk to the ref in their half circle.
Hang low and don't say a word if your coach is the one doing the wrong thing and is fighting with the ref. Just remember, they are the ones who can bench you if they want.

Thank you aellafashion. The only reason I took down the count down is because every time I left the blog, it went back to zero. Maybe I will put it back on if I can figure out how to work it. But I do like the fish. You're right, they are pretty cool.

According to the CSA (Canadian Standards Association), sports of all kinds carry a risk of serious eye injury or blindness, but with proper protection, virtually all sports eye injuries are preventable. For example, in the 1974-1975 season - before minor ice hockey players were required to wear facemasks - there were 258 eye injuries, including 43 blinded eyes, whereas in the 2001-2002 season, only four eye injuries, including two blinded eyes were reported.

Time for another tip of the day.

So, when the puck is in the open, and you already see someone else closer than you going after it, you don't go after it, too. You got o were you think the puck will come out. That gives the person near the puck more room and more people to pass to.

So, how do you like my follow me fishies. They should go were ever you put your mouse in their tank. You can also feed them by clicking in their tank. Go ahead give it a try.

Make sure to tie your hockey skates extra tight so you don't get sore feet while your skating. You also might what to air out your gear after you every week you play hockey so they last longer and are they are more protective.

We may be up 2-1, but that doesn't mean anything to us. They will be playing the best if we don't work to win. Play-downs are next week so we have to pretend that every game is the championship game or else we will never make it. One,two,three,TEAM!
